Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Halwai to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing a wide variety of Indian sweets and snacks with traditional methods and authentic flavors. You should have a passion for quality, hygiene, and consistency in every dish you prepare.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare a wide range of Indian sweets such as Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Barfi, Ladoo, Jalebi, and more. Prepare savory snacks like samosas, kachori, namkeen, etc. (optional based on role). Ensure proper measurement, mixing, and cooking of ingredients. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen. Monitor inventory and request ingredients as needed. Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Innovate and introduce new sweets as per customer preferences or festive seasons. Manage kitchen helpers or assistants if required.

Requirements:



Proven experience as a Halwai or in a similar cooking role. Knowledge of traditional Indian sweets and preparation methods. Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work efficiently and maintain consistency under pressure. Physical stamina to stand and work for long hours. Team player with good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



Training or certification in culinary arts is a plus. Experience working in a commercial kitchen, hotel, or sweet shop.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
