Job Title: Gym Technician

About Us:

We are a leading fitness chain with multiple gyms across Mumbai. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gym Technician to join our team. As a Gym Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our gym equipment, ensuring that all machines are in good working condition and providing a safe and effective workout environment for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on gym equipment, including cardio machines, strength training equipment, and free weights.

2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and take corrective action to resolve issues.

3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and prevent downtime.

4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the equipment room and surrounding areas.

5. Provide excellent customer service to members, answering questions and addressing concerns about equipment usage and maintenance.

6. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is properly installed, maintained, and repaired.

7. Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for equipment maintenance and repair.

8. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience as a gym technician or in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electronics).

2. Strong knowledge of gym equipment, including cardio machines, strength training equipment, and free weights.

3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

4. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

5. Strong communication and customer service skills.

6. High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electronics) preferred.

Working Hours:

- Monday to Saturday: 9am to 6pm

- Sunday: Closed

Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive salary: ?18000 - ?25000 per month
