Job Description

2 - 10 years (with 3- 5 years of experience in Guidewire Configuration / Integration) o Exposure and Awareness of Property and Casualty Insurance Business o Working and delivering in the Agile/Scum practice is highly desirable o Guidewire Certifications highly preferred o Java/J2EE resource with Guidewire Experience (Policy Center/Billing Center/Claim Center) o Should be able to design and develop Guidewire Integration Components/ Configure PC or BC or CC o Should have Guidewire Platform Upgrade Experience (Upgrade and Cloud experience would be preferred) o Hands-on experience with GOSU, Web Services and XML o Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQL o Implementation proficiency and hands-on experience in GW Integration viz. Integration with ESB, Legacy application, and/or Third party Vendor Applications o Experience with common integration mechanisms including Service Oriented architecture, web services (SOAP), Messaging (JMS,MQ) o Experienced in GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model and workflows o Should have Unit test(gunits) and Technical Design Documentation experience o Good experience in Incident management, Problem management, Request Handling for Guidewire PC/BC/CC configurations, customizations and third party integrations o Hands on exposure to GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, JMS messaging queues o Must have estimation, team leading, code review and mentoring skills
