• Greeting guests : Welcoming guests and making them feel at home
• Check-in and check-out : Assisting guests with the check-in and check-out processes
• Providing information : Informing guests about the hotel's services and facilities
• Responding to requests : Addressing guest concerns and requests in a professional and timely manner
• Maintaining records : Keeping a log of the front office and shift reports, and recording banquet and other functions
• Promoting the hotel : Looking for opportunities to enhance the guest's stay through up-selling
• Liaising with other departments : Working with other departments to resolve administrative and operational issues
• Ensuring quality : Maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring that all aspects of the job are of quality
• Reporting to management : Bringing any matters that may affect the hotel's interests to the attention of management
