: Guest Service Associate

Department: Food and Beverage Service

Position Overview: As a Food and Beverage Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service:
• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients, dietary restrictions, and preparation methods.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional manner.
• Order Management:
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Monitor and follow up on orders to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Food and Beverage Presentation:
• Ensure that all food and beverages are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining facilities.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Billing and Financial Transactions:
• Prepare and present bills to guests.
• Handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and adhere to hotel policies regarding cash handling.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Assist in training new staff members as required.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of service standards.
• Additional Duties:
• Assist with setting up and breaking down events and banquets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.

Qualifications:

• Education: A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Experience: 01 year prior experience in the hotel industry preferred

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
