Have a full knowledge of the venues operations and roles therein.
Ensure all food and beverage items served to guests are of the highest standard and presentation.
Understand and supervise opening and closing procedures including a thorough knowledge of the Point of Sale System.
Ensure cleanliness of bar, tables, chairs, floor and general equipment. In liaison with supervisors to ensure sufficient equipment for the operation of the outlets.
Be attentive and need to have a clear eye for detail on every guest in the section and listen to them carefully
Ensure linen exchange procedure is followed and all care is taken with linen
Suggesting guests on Food & Beverages options
Proper, uninterrupted (guest) service of the order as per sequence
Closing of shift : Handover of cash, occupied tables, room service orders, room service orders and tray clearances, requisitioning and log entries
