• A guest relations executive's primary responsibility is to ensure that guests have a memorable and welcoming experience and to build lasting relationships with them. They are a key point of contact for guests and are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
• Welcoming guests : Greeting guests upon arrival and checking them in
• Handling luggage : Ensuring that luggage is handled quickly and efficiently
• Delivering mail and messages : Making sure that mail and messages are delivered to guests promptly
• Addressing complaints : Dealing with guest complaints tactfully and escalating them to the Guest Relations Manager when needed
• Providing assistance : Helping guests with tasks like confirming travel arrangements and taking messages
• Ensuring compliance : Making sure that health and quality standards are met
• Recording information : Keeping a daily logbook of information
• Managing check-in and check-out : Ensuring that check-in and check-out are efficient and effective
• Handling keys : Assigning rooms and preparing keys and folders for guests
• Maintaining guest relations : Ensuring that in-house guests are treated well at all times
