Job Title: Guest Services Coordinator

Job Summary:

As the Guest Services Coordinator, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for managing waiting times, reservations, and ensuring the smooth flow of guests from arrival to seating. Your exceptional communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati will be invaluable in providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for all guests. Additionally, you will handle guest feedback with professionalism and efficiency, striving to continuously improve our services.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage waiting lists and reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient seating arrangements.

2. Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing assistance as needed.

3. Coordinate with the host/hostess and servers to optimize seating and minimize wait times.

4. Implement que management strategies to streamline guest flow during peak hours.

5. Escort guests to their seats, providing menus and assisting with any special requests.

6. Proactively seek and handle guest feedback, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.

7. Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby and waiting area.

8. Communicate effectively with guests in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, ensuring clear understanding and satisfaction.

9. Collaborate with the management team to implement improvements based on guest feedback and observations.

10. Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing reservations, and updating guest records.

Requirements:

1. Fluency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati (written and verbal).

2. Proven experience in a guest services or hospitality role, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds.

4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

5. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy periods.

6. Knowledge of que management techniques and reservation systems is a plus.

7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

8. Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a restaurant or cafe setting.

2. Additional language skills are a plus.

3. Experience using reservation management software or POS systems.

4. Training or certification in customer service or hospitality management.

Working Hours:

Flexible scheduling, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
