Job Description


:Core responsibilities:Develop and demonstrate a good understanding of the subject area capabilities and facilitate the advancement of communities of practice for the identified groups.Demonstrate strong understanding of Knowledge Management principles and methodologies - taxonomy & metadata, content management, community management, knowledge harvesting, etc. in work and work interactions.Identify, collect, synthesize, package, and deploy knowledge capital that supports assigned knowledge areas.Leverage metrics and analytics to measure impact of knowledge solutions for the assigned knowledge areas.Ensure consistent, high-quality service by developing and maintaining dedicated, strong relationships with primary stakeholders of the business line and National KM team members.Support the Team lead/Manager in managing key relationships by developing approaches to anticipate and address risks, needs, challenges or aspirations of the stakeholder or customer.Drive the awareness and adoption of KM technologies (i.e., intranet, collaboration, social, etc.) within NKM and stakeholder groups.Engages proactively with the reporting manager and team members, and keep them apprised of project status, challenges, and issues.Participates in team level discussions, contributes, and shares insight regarding knowledge and business-related discussions/knowledge sharing sessions.Promote collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and stakeholders.Project management responsibilities:Demonstrates end to end project management for self and the team on specific projects that is high impact, on strategy and innovative.Handle multiple projects from planning to execution under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Perform work independently, with minimal level of review, demonstrate ownership of projects of simple to medium complexity.Works in a structured and time-bound manner, with adequate documentations and communicationManages quality of deliverables (self and others) by review and feedbackIdentifies, shares, and implements leading practices.Stays on top of all assigned projects and initiatives. Delivers projects with a no surprise mindset. Escalates issues as appropriate.People management responsibilities:Support the talent acquisition efforts by participating in the interview process for Associates/ AnalystsInvests time to develop competency for junior members in line with business priorities and individual developmental needs.Coach junior team members in an official capacity, in line with group structureSupervises team members working on projects including Temp. Staff, Analysts, Associates, and peer Senior Associates. Provides detailed and timely feedback on performance of others working on projects.Skills:Strong project management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills (both verbal and written)Clear attention to detailTraining and development acumen: Track record of providing training/guidance to others in process and technology-related aspects.Structure and present data / information using tools such as Excel and PowerPointWorking knowledge of SharePoint (versions 2007 or above) is preferred.Understands Office 365 applications and collaboration platforms.
