Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated GST Assistant to join our team at Chandak Agarwal & Co. As a GST Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of GST-related work, including GST audit, GST R-9, GST R-9C, refund application, GST accounting, appeal and assessment, and analyzing particular queries of clients. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of GST.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in GST-related work
• Strong knowledge of GST laws and regulations
• Proficient in using GST software and MS Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Assist in conducting GST audits and ensure compliance with all GST regulations
• Prepare and file GST R-9 and GST R-9C forms accurately and timely
• Handle refund applications and communicate with authorities for their processing
• Assist in GST accounting and maintain accurate records
• Support in appeal and assessment procedures, if required
• Analyze particular queries of clients related to GST and provide appropriate solutions
• Stay updated with the latest GST laws and regulations
• Assist in other accounting tasks and provide support to the team as needed
