GroupM is the worldxe2x80x99s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP.We are currently looking for young professionals (Industrial Trainee) who are looking forward to making their careers in the taxation related compliances and advisory, based out of Mumbai to join us. In this role, you will be primarily assisting the team of experiences tax professionals in day-to-day tax compliances along with advisory and litigation related matters.At GroupM India, our people are our strength, which is why fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion is important to us.Reporting of the roleThis role reports to: Senior Director / Director - TaxationIn this role, your goals will be:Indirect Tax :

• Assisting in carrying out GST compliances, reconciliation and review of determination of liability, payment of GST, filing of GST Returns, E way Bill.
• Monitoring GST Returns and proper claim of input tax credit, VAT and GST refunds VAT Audit, GST Audit
• Assisting in compilation of details related to Indirect Taxation litigations
• Monitoring of notices and various correspondences with the indirect tax department
• Assistance in tracking of GST compliances along with litigations and refund application and refund follow-ups etc.

ORDirect Tax:

• Assistance in managing all the direct tax compliances such as Corporate Tax Return, Transfer Pricing Certificate & Reports, Tax Audit, advance tax compliance, deferred tax, Effective tax rate reconciliation, Master file compliances, SFT Filling etc.
• Review of tax financials and computation of income
• Assisting in compilation of details related to Direct Taxation litigations
• Monitoring of notices and various correspondences with the Direct tax department

Minimum qualifications:

• Pursuing Chartered Accountant (existing articleship in taxation shall have added weightage)
