Overview of the Job:

GroupM is the world\'s largest media investment company and a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. Goat, a part of Matrix @ GroupM is the influencer and content marketing specialist team, which works across all agencies at GroupM.

We are currently looking for an Influencer Marketing Specialist to join us. In this role, you will be strategizing, planning, buying & executing digital content campaigns for GroupM agencies and clients. You are an organized & self-driven person, who has in-depth knowledge of the influencer marketing industry in India. The role requires you to demonstrate end-to-end campaign experience, including planning, buying & execution expertise. You will use the Brand AI platform to strategize deployment and advise various clients and agency partners on which social media platforms & which creators to use and why. Have established relationships and buying prowess with influencers across creator genres and social media platforms. You are meticulous, organized and have a proactive working attitude in organizing work to launch and implement campaigns successfully.

Measures of success -

In three months:
  • Understand the work processes of media vendors, publishers and influencers and aligning them to the client\'s needs, including campaign timelines, KPIs and deliverables.
  • Master the Brand AI tech platform and create plans on it.
  • Undertake social media platform analyses & develop creative strategies - to build Goat\'s pitch to clients.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders of campaigns - influencers, media agency planners, media vendors and publishers, and the internal finance and billing departments.
In six months:
  • Create master decks and advise clients on the ideal content formats and social media platform to deploy campaign-specific content on - with a focus on maximizing outcomes.
  • Conduct and lead Goat platform demos - for agencies & clients.
  • Master the social media eco-system and create go-to-market strategies with the ideal social media platform mix.
  • Demonstrate buying ability by onboarding at the best costs.
  • Actively participate in creator onboarding - to strengthen the influencer roster @ Goat.
In 12 months:
  • Recommend & use more planning tools proficiently, create effective content strategies and create full campaign proposals for digital content requirements of brands.
  • Recommend ideas, approaches and processes that will improve Goat\'s ability, efficiency & profitability.
  • Take ownership of the role of a brand guardian, ensuring that strategic and creative requirements of brands are met in digital campaigns.
Responsibilities of the role:
  • Campaign strategy: In collaboration with agencies, you will lead pitches and selling to clients, create campaign strategies from a given brief and work with the agencies to get the proposal signed off. Churn out strategy & creative ideas for campaigns and pitch the same to agency and clients.
  • Negotiation & Buying: Buy more efficiently and build direct relationships with influencers, with the objective of building strong margins.
  • Selling plans and following through till closure and reporting.
  • Campaign implementation: Build and develop solid and harmonious relationship with the influencers, agency partners & content teams to launch and complete digital campaigns successfully.
What you will need:
  • 9+ years\' relevant experience at an influencer marketing agency, media agency or creative agency.
  • Client/Agency relationships exposure and strong relationship management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and good at spotting opportunities
  • Passionate - brings a genuine thrill and excitement to the role
  • Agile - is able to be nimble in thought and action and overcome obstacles to achieve great things
  • Collaborative - works well with others, and can align behind a shared purpose
  • Entrepreneurial - is open to new ideas, and will challenge old ones.
