This newly created position will report to the E&A Group Reporting and Compliance Director.The ideal candidate must have a degree, or equivalent level and have experience working in Finance & Accounting and have an excellent standard of written and spoken English along with MS Office skills, including advanced excel They will also need to be confident, organised, accurate and calm under pressure/deadlines. Working with a close and well-established team of finance professionals, you will be responsible for assisting with a broad range of duties that include:\xef\x82\xb7 Preparation of monthly and quarterly schedules, including capital expenditure, provisions, and reserves
\xef\x82\xb7 Preparation of monthly cash flow statements
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for month end activities including HFM and related reporting.
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide analysis and explanations for variances between actual results and budget/forecast.
\xef\x82\xb7 Assist in the preparation of management reports to aid decision-making.
\xef\x82\xb7 Working closely with local controllers and accounting teams to ensure the accurate reporting and analysis in line with agreed timescales and group policy.
\xef\x82\xb7 Preparation of monthly intercompany recharge workings and calculations for the teams
\xef\x82\xb7 Support the monitoring and enhancement controls to mitigate financial risks.
\xef\x82\xb7 Communicate financial information and reporting requirements effectively within the organisation.
\xef\x82\xb7 Liaise with (US) internal and external auditors to facilitate the Sox and statutory audit process.
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide necessary documentation and explanations to support the audit of financial statements.
\xef\x82\xb7 Analysis of impacts of foreign exchange on reported financial performance.
\xef\x82\xb7 Produce ad hoc analysis to support regional group reporting and compliance monitoring.
\xef\x82\xb7 Involvement in other project related activities, as required.Skills and Requirements:
\xef\x82\xb7 Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified) with at least 2+ years PQE in a Professional Services background
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in working in a global corporate organisation and multicurrency environment.
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of an ERP system: HFM experience advantageous.
\xef\x82\xb7 Working knowledge and experience of dealing with multiple foreign exchange currencies.
\xef\x82\xb7 IT proficient and advanced excel skills essential. Strong experience of Power Query/Power Pivot and Power BI is highly desirable.
\xef\x82\xb7 Proven written and communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 the applicant should have the ability to communicate persuasively across a wide range of professional groups.Personal Qualities:
