Position Purpose

This position will be responsible to driving all the Digitalization Strategy Projects within R&D.
Strategic Responsibilities
------------------------------


• Responsible for Digitalization across PI R& D.
• Drive automation strategies and keep abreast with new developments in IT particularly in agro industry.
• Provide guidance around best practices and overall program governance.
• Partnering with the various functions at R&D - Chemistry, Biology, Formulations, Process Research, Knowledge management and Product Development to identify technology needs. Maintain close working relationships with the internal stake holders, departments in the company for smooth communication and coordination.
• Identify and engage with key vendor partner for customization and delivery of new modules.
• Contribute effectively to the growth of R&D and PI as an organization.
• Deploy solution architectures and define consistent models to ensure conformance with standards (standard interfaces, standard components etc.) in agro-chemical R&D industry.
• Ensure effective integration of various solutions in the R&D organization for future delivery of research intelligence projects.
• Adhere to data / information security policies and operating procedures and also include them in the R&D IT governance.

• PhD (relevant scientific domain viz. Chemistry, Molecular modelling, Bioinformatics, Agriculture)
• Certifications in IT Architecture, Delivery, and Applications is a must.
Work Experience

12-15 years of work experience with minimum 5+ years of experience of in similar role.
Industry to be Hired from
-----------------------------



Any Industry but having strong exposure to Life Science & R&D set up in particular. Agroindustry will be preferred.
