Group Leader - Data Product Services Location - Hyderabad #LI Hybrid About the Role: Job Purpose is to devise and implement solutions for data ingestion, enrichment operations of data products and master data management that drive scale and tangible impact. Provide \'Thought Leadership\' abilities and expertise in shaping data strategies for a franchise or a geography (US or IM priority countries), as well as direct line management of a Data Services team. Ensure incorporation of data principles in engineering and architectural aspects of data. Ensure data quality following \'one source of truth\' Build and lead a team of experts that deliver value across products like MDM / ODS/ GB/ DROID working in complex ecosystem of business and vendor partners ensuring outcomes for the business. Key Responsibilities: . Leads Data as a Service delivery teams in shaping and deploying enterprise wide data strategy to enable clean and linked data across the Pharma value chain (including Research, Development, Manufacturing, Procurement & Supply Chain, Commercial and Medical Affairs). . Helps define and shape specific data/ analytics use cases by working closely with stakeholders in business units, Data Strategy and NBS IT. Build trusted partnership with the stakeholders and champions the value of clean and linked data . Be responsible for successful deployment of defined use cases across digital lighthouses leveraging enterprise wide data horizontal DLC products and assets. . Provides technical leadership in data management to the Data as a Service delivery teams and is also able to roll up sleeves to perform hands on work as needed. . Facilitates, moderates meetings with stakeholders and cross functional team. Ensure service quality, mediating through conflicts and helping team make decisions . Build familiarity and alignment to the Data Strategy vision, with clear understanding and ease with product backlogs and AGILE working ways . Promotes collaborative cultural within the teams, champions change management to build a more data-centric mindset and an inspired, empowered, and collaborative organization. . Drive engagement/collaboration in a matrix organization, fostering strong partnerships - internal and external, and helping build diverse teams. Diversity & Inclusion / EEO Minimum Requirements Essential Requirements . Education (minimum/desirable): Masters/ PhD in Computer Sciences / IT or other quantitative sciences . 10-15 years of hands-on and consulting experience in data management and engineering in a Global data driven organization . Domain expertise in at least one of the following areas - a) Pharma R&D, b) Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain and c) Marketing and Sales. Experience in working in Pharma / Life Science industry strongly preferred . Experience of working in global companies on large scale initiatives across the Data Life Cycle using AGILE methodology . Deep expertise in Data Life Cycle Management and data wrangling including Data Ingestion, Unification, Anonymization, Search, Master & Meta Data Management and Data Governance. . Experience in FAIR data principles, creating Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs), building Ontologies and working with Semantic Web technologies (RDF, SPARQL, OWL). . Experience in AGILE working as a certified Scrum Master in a global team. In-depth experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and mentoring teams/individuals on agile values, design thinking, customer value, product management, etc. Hands on experience in working with AGILE tools such as JIRA and Confluence. At least 5 years of hands on experience working on data management and analytics tools. Hand on experience in working with Python and other scripting tools is preferred. Experience in working with cloud technologies such as AWS and Microsoft Azure is preferred. . Domain expertise in at least one of the following areas - a) Pharma R&D, b) Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain and c) Marketing and Sales. Experience in working in Pharma / Life Science industry strongly preferred. Desirable Requirements: . Advanced skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency . Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with senior global executives. High passion and energy and ability to navigate complex global matrixed organization to achieve the business objectives.
