You will provide engineering leadership and oversight to multiple projects and programs being executed. Role Responsibilities

  • Engineering leadership and delivery - Enhancing the existing systems, implementing solutions across new regions and corridors, identification and monitoring of risks, providing resolutions, and developing mitigation strategies. Drive System modernization and re-engineering of our platform as we leverage new technologies and re-engineer its architecture to leverage newer technologies, cloud, and new architectural models.
  • Enable innovation - Identifying and implementing process improvements and introducing innovative engineering practices that improve product quality and optimize efforts.
  • Stakeholder management - The individual works with geographically distributed stakeholders and is responsible for ensuring healthy collaboration across teams.
  • Coaching the team members - One of the critical aspects of the role is to provide coaching and mentoring to Architects, Managers and Engineering to develop world-class team that constantly raises the bar and holds itself to high engineering standards.
  • Customer focus - The individual demonstrates an enterprise mindset, passion for customers, lean-agile leadership and is an innovation enabler.
  • Team building and engagement - The position should help build a work environment which attracts the best talent and sponsor committees that conduct technical and employee engagement events at site level. Recruit, develop, and mentor world-class engineering talent.

Role Requirements You will have 18+ years of professional experience with 8 + years in progressive leadership experience in leading large engineering teams. Demonstrated capabilities in leading large engineering teams with strong emphasis on engineering innovation, adopting industry best practices, and implementing tools and technologies to continuously improve the quality of the platforms and optimize efforts. Deep understanding of both business domain and technology for setting the technology roadmap that help realize business value. Ability to understand the emerging technology trends, assess the impact of these trends on our business and provide optimized solutions conforming to these trends. Excellent decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills Strong presentation skills to articulate technology solutions to internal stakeholders and external partners in an understandable manner. Ability to motivate and inspire everyone to do their best work, resolve conflicts and nurture a positive work environment. Hands on experience in Cloud based architecture designs and implementations. Hands on experience in Cloud based architecture designs and implementations. AWS knowledge is an added advantage Hands on experience in software development including SOA, BPM, APIs, Web Services (SOAP/RESTful), Micro Services, Containerization. Experience with test automation frameworks and testing approaches like TDD Experience with Agile software development processes and tools, experience in leading large solution using Scaled Agile (SAFe) is highly desired Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and to thrive under pressure
  • Certifications - AWS Solution Architect, Blockchain and SAFe Agilist, PMP, ITIL
  • Experience in Financial Services domain, experience in Payments & Risk domain is plus
  • Hands-on experience in building an application using microservices based architecture using NodeJS or Spring Boot
  • Hands on experience in Fico/Blaze or any other business rules engines.
  • Hands on experience on NoSQL databases
  • Hands on experience on various DevOps tools
  • Hands on experience in data payload formats using XML, JSON, XSD
