Overview:
Group IT Infrastructure Projects - Lead Role
Key Responsibilities:

Manage, lead, and guide the technical team with diverse skill set and to delegate and orchestrate the workload across the team.
Able to understand and decompose technical solution specifications into work packages; document prerequisites and dependencies for the work packages; and estimate the level of effort and resource level/skill necessary to implement each work package.
Estimate the level of effort required for technical specifications and help the project manager with resource planning.
Work with business stakeholders and development teams to design, implement and manage Azure application infrastructure and platform solutions
Develop and document technical infrastructure solution designs and specifications that satisfy the functional and technical requirements.
Assess technical options for each solution in Infrastructure implementation projects; evaluate possible technologies; make and defend technology recommendations.
Develop technical proofs of concept, as necessary, to validate proposed solutions designs, reduce technical risk, and minimize level of effort uncertainty.
Design and implement production-ready infrastructures that comply with high operational standards.
Accountable for the suitability of the delivered technical solution architecture to address functional and technical requirements.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

Should be a Graduate (preferably Computer related) with a minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in IT Infrastructure design, Implementation, and people management.

Mandatory Skills:

Experience in design, implement and managing Cloud, on-prem, hybrid infrastructures
In depth knowledge in Azure cloud technologies (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
Network Management - Routing & Switching, VPNs.
Managing Firewalls (Cisco ASA).
Active Directory
Exposure to VMWare Virtualization
Familiar with preparing server/network equipment Hardware spec.
knowledge of Storage Solutions.

Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
Must be a team player, energetic with a positive attitude
Excellent planning, organising and time management skills.
Demonstrates attention to detail.
Ability to evaluate technical alternatives considering business needs, technology fit, cost/benefit etc.
Ability to deliver on commitments while working on multiple projects concurrently.
