Position: Greenhouse Engineer Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India Position Type: Full-time Salary Range: Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 3,500,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications Additional Incentives: Project-based bonuses Professional development opportunities of working with international organizations Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain greenhouse systems and structures to optimize plant growth and environmental conditions. Implement advanced technologies, including automation, climate control, and irrigation systems, to enhance greenhouse productivity and efficiency. Conduct research and experiments to test and evaluate new techniques, materials, and equipment for greenhouse operations. Monitor and analyze environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and light levels to ensure optimal growing conditions for plants. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including agronomists, scientists, and technicians, to integrate greenhouse operations with overall agricultural practices. Train and mentor greenhouse staff on best practices for operation, maintenance, and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of greenhouse operations, including inventory management, production data, and resource usage. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master\'s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in greenhouse design, construction, and management, preferably in a commercial agriculture setting. Strong technical skills in greenhouse technology, including HVAC systems, irrigation systems, and Hi-tech Mushroom Farming. Knowledge of plant physiology, crop management practices, and greenhouse production techniques are also preferred. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
