Key Responsibilities:
Assembly of VMC & CNC Machines:
Perform mechanical assembly of VMC and CNC machines as per engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
Assemble components such as spindles, ball screws, linear guides, motors, and other mechanical parts with precision.
Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and functioning of all machine components.
Testing & Calibration:
Conduct functional testing of assembled machines to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
Calibrate machine components and systems to achieve optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or assembly-related issues during testing.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect components and assemblies to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Document and report any defects or deviations from standards.
Follow quality control procedures and maintain accurate records of assembly and testing processes.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to the production team during the assembly process.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve machine designs.
Assist in the development of assembly procedures and work instructions.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during assembly and testing activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in the assembly process.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in assembling VMC and CNC machines.
Hands-on experience with precision mechanical assembly and testing.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and assembly techniques.
Familiarity with CNC controls, servo systems, and machine calibration is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in CNC programming or machine operation.
Experience with CAD software for reviewing designs.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
