Service Engineer Job Vacancy in Chennai
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include visiting locations to inspect, service, and repair equipment, using various instruments and methods to identify and fix technical issues. This role involves performing regular maintenance tasks such as part replacement, lubrication, and cleaning, as well as upgrading and modifying machinery to improve operation and performance. It also includes keeping detailed records of service activities, including repair reports and maintenance logs, and collaborating with internal departments like customer service, engineering, and sales. Staying updated on product developments, industry advancements, and emerging technologies is essential, as is managing inventories and ordering necessary supplies, tools, and spare parts. The role also requires ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety procedures, and providing training and mentoring to junior engineers and clients as needed.
