Sales Executive Drive Results and Grow Your Career
Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Acquisition:
- Generate and close new acquisition leads in the assigned territory to expand the merchant network.
- Follow up on customer or employee-generated leads to achieve coverage and signing objectives within the territory.
2. Merchant Onboarding & Activation:
- Ensure smooth merchant setup and provide a welcome call to newly acquired merchants.
- Manage the first 100 days post-signing to ensure activation and optimal merchant engagement.
3. Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure long-term business success.
- Utilize consultative solution selling techniques to build rapport and foster merchant loyalty.
4. Issue Resolution:
- Own the end-to-end resolution of reported surcharge suppression cases, ensuring timely and efficient problem-solving.
- Act as the first point of escalation for issues arising from other contact channels.
5. Campaign Execution:
- Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of campaigns in the territory, driving merchant engagement and satisfaction.
- Proactively identify incremental opportunities by leveraging client contacts and identifying cross-selling potential.
6. Customer Retention:
- Reinforce the company’s value proposition to retain merchants and promote card acceptance.
- Utilize market knowledge to understand customer needs and tailor solutions that enhance satisfaction.
7. Market Insight & Strategy:
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer base and marketplace to drive successful sales strategies.
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer behavior to inform product and service offerings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in merchant acquisition or sales roles within financial services or payment solutions.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage escalations and resolve issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape.
- Proficient in campaign execution and lead management.
