Responsibilities
- Generate and close new acquisition leads within the assigned territory, focusing on bringing in new business and signing new merchants.
- Achieve coverage and signing quality objectives for the territory, ensuring that target goals are met or exceeded.
- Ensure successful merchant setup and onboarding: Conduct welcome calls and manage the first 100 days of merchant activation to ensure seamless onboarding and usage.
- Follow up on leads generated by customers and employees to convert potential opportunities into actual signings.
- Build strong relationships through consultative selling: Offer tailored solutions that foster long-term relationships with merchants, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
- Own end-to-end resolution of surcharge suppression cases, ensuring prompt and effective resolution for merchants experiencing issues.
- Deliver campaigns effectively and efficiently to maximize their impact and ensure smooth execution.
- Identify incremental opportunities proactively: Spot additional opportunities during client interactions to potentially leverage cross-selling opportunities.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for issues that arise from other customer contact channels, ensuring timely resolution.
- Reinforce and communicate the value of services to retain merchants and encourage ongoing card acceptance.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer base and marketplace to better meet client needs and drive business growth.
