JOB DESIGNATION: GRAPHICS DESIGNING FACULTY

LOCATION: CALICUT

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 YRS

SALARY: 25K-30K

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Graphics Designing Faculty to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in various aspects of graphic design, including design principles, software proficiency, typography, color theory, and digital media. As a faculty member, you will help cultivate students' creativity and technical skills, preparing them for careers in the dynamic field of graphic design.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Development:

• Deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on graphic design concepts, tools, and techniques.

• Develop, update, and enhance the curriculum to meet industry standards and evolving trends in graphic design.

• Provide hands-on training in graphic design software, including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant tools.

Student Support & Mentorship:

• Provide academic guidance, feedback, and support to students in individual or group settings.

• Evaluate student work through assignments, projects, and exams, ensuring assessments reflect both creative and technical abilities.

• Foster a creative and collaborative environment for students to explore their ideas and improve their skills.

Research & Professional Development:

• Stay updated on current design trends, technologies, and best practices in the graphic design industry.

• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and technical knowledge.

• Contribute to the growth and reputation of the department by participating in faculty meetings, workshops, and events.

Administrative & Miscellaneous:

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

• Participate in curriculum reviews and accreditation activities as required.

• Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to organise events, exhibitions, or student showcases.

Qualifications:

• Certified scholar in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in design techniques and software.

• Previous teaching or training experience in a related field is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, branding, layout, and digital media.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to students at various skill levels.

• Creative, passionate, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with animation or 3D design software (e.g., Adobe after Effects, Blender).

• .Familiarity with online teaching tools and e-learning platforms.

• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and trends in graphic design.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
