GITAM Deemed to be University is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The Graphic Designer will be crucial in developing visually appealing and impactful designs for various digital and print mediums. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional creativity, and proficiency in graphic design software tools. As a Graphic Designer at GITAM, you will contribute to the university\'s visual identity, support marketing campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that enhance the university\'s brand image. Responsibilities: Develop visually appealing designs for various mediums, including websites, social media platforms, print materials, advertisements, and promotional materials. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand design requirements, objectives, and target audience. Create and modify digital and print assets such as logos, banners, brochures, posters, newsletters, infographics, and other marketing collateral. Ensure brand consistency across all design projects, adhering to the university\'s brand guidelines and visual identity standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, and suggest innovative ideas to enhance the university\'s visual communication. Coordinate with external vendors and printers to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery of print materials. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and web development, to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions. Assist in photography and videography projects, including editing and retouching visual content. Maintaining an organised digital asset library ensures easy access to design files and resources. Requirements: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution or a related industry. Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, or similar tools. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various design styles, techniques, and mediums. Excellent visual and typographic skills and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Solid understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and layout. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Knowledge of web design principles, user experience (UX), and responsive design is a plus. Familiarity with motion graphics is a huge plus.
