The Metaverse Street Journal is a startup that's the official Media Partner of the Upland Metaverse and has also been the official Media partner to The Paris Blockchain Week 2024 and previously the official Gaming Media Partner to The Government of India for the G20 summit 2023 under India's Presidency for Gaming in collaboration with the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for Indian Gaming Conclave and the Indian Gaming Show for G20 under India's Presidency.Role DescriptionThis is a Permanent position on-site role initially with the possibility of being remote/hybrid after the first 3 months (with some time in office and sometime work-from home), for a Graphic Designer and Video Editor at The Metaverse Street Journal located in DLF Phase 5, Sector 53, Gurgaon, Haryana and nearby areas.The Graphic Designer and Video Editor will be responsible for Content Management with fast turn around times.Qualifications:
- Must posses a laptop capable of running Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva
- Must have knowledge of both Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva
- Ability to use Canon XA60, Canon XA40 and Canon 1500D is advantageous
- Ability to use Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro is advantageous
- Strong skills in Camera Operations is advantageous
- Experience as a Camera Operator in broadcast journalism is advantageous
- A deep understanding of Camera Management is advantageous
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills is essential
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is very important
- The ability to work collaboratively with a team of reporters, producers, and camera crew is highly important
- A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, or related field in beneficial but NOT mandatory
- Previous experience in news broadcasting as a camera operator would be beneficial
- Knowledge of current events, politics, and social issues would be desired
