Job Brief:

We're looking for a Packaging Designer who is passionate about their work and who is looking to join a company that is constantly innovating and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Packaging Designer Duties:

Provide packaging design solutions to meet product goals and customer needs Develop new packaging solutions and continuously improve existing ones Propose new packaging solutions and strategies Develop and test new packaging solutions Work with other departments researching alternatives to current packaging solutions Consult with vendors and customers regarding product and package design Manage packaging projects from inception to completion

Packaging Designer Responsibilities:

Design product packaging for individual products, products in a product line, or an entire product line Identify and assemble finished artwork based on the brand's visual guidelines and style guides Review concepts with production artists, and consult with clients, suppliers, and vendors when appropriate Create layouts for packaging designs, using drafting, illustration, or 3D software Master knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, printing techniques, and international standards Organize CAD files, manage resources, adhere to schedules and budgets, and communicate with clients and vendors Create mock-up and visual designs to communicate conceptual ideas to sales teams Optimize graphic files for online and print production, and ensure software applications are up-to-date Promote brand vision by consistently creating packaging that is creative, functional, and on-brand Update and maintain files and records Inventory of materials, including paper,

Requirements and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, or related field Knowledge of CorelDraw, Illustrator and Photoshop 2+ years of packaging design experience Experience with commercial product packaging design Skills with drawing, sketching, and computer art tools Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes Ability to understand and follow applicable Excellent communication and presentation
