This role involves combining artistic and technical skills to arrange text, images, and other design elements to produce high-quality materials that communicate the desired message.Must have prior experience with Children\'s Book Publication IndustryKey Responsibilities:1. Create and design visually appealing layouts for print materials, digital assets, websites, and other marketing collateral.2. Collaborate with clients or team members to understand design requirements and project objectives.3. Select and arrange fonts, colours, images, and other design elements to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing designs.4. Produce and modify design concepts, ensuring they meet branding and marketing guidelines.5. Prepare files for production, including print, web, and other media formats.6. Stay up-to-date with design trends and software tools to maintain a high level of design proficiency.7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring the quality of the final product.8. Review and proofread designs for accuracy and quality.9. Proven experience in graphic design and layout work, with a portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.10. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).11. Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and colour theory.12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members.13. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs.14. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.15. Knowledge of web design principles and experience in designing for digital platforms is a plus.Optional Skills and Certifications:1. Experience with video editing and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro).2.
