Role And Responsibilities We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented graphic artist with at least 2 years of experience in print production and digital design. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and designing compelling print and digital ads using a range of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to meet the needs of our commercial clients. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver innovative solutions that align with our department standards and consumer goals. Duties include: Creating and designing print and digital ads and pages using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for Gannett Sites and commercial clients Manipulating images, including line art, photos, COBs, PDFs, and special requests within quality and productivity standards Following proper workflow procedures and protocols to ensure ads are accurate and meet deadlines Collaborating with customer support on resolving customer questions and/or concerns and providing guidance and assistance as needed to other imaging specialists Participating and contributing to calls with international teams, operational team meets & training sessions Working overtime when needed to meet critical deadlines Completing adhoc tasks and projects as needed Candidate Qualifications The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications: HSC/ Graduate with a Bachelor\'s degree in Photography, Design, Print Production, Art, Computers, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Business or Accounting Certification in Photography / Graphics / Digital Design / Multimedia Exposure to previous Color Correction a benefit Hands-on experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Pitstop, Print production Publishing or graphic arts industry knowledge preferred.
