Job Description

As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs and graphics for a variety of mediums, including print and digital. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and contribute to the overall branding and marketing efforts of our company.Responsibilities

• Create and design various marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, advertisements, and social media graphics
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts and designs
• Present design ideas and concepts to the team and stakeholders
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual identity
• Prepare and deliver high-quality print-ready files
• Iterate and refine designs based on feedback from team members and clients
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Work closely with printers and vendors to ensure high-quality production of printed materials

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Conceptualist and translate ideas into products or graphic design solutions
• Augmenting existing collections
• Assisting with new Karu products and graphic design projects
• Creating, checking and sending artwork for print
• Competent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign)

Applicant must:

• Be self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• Have passion for Indian art and DIY
• Be a perfectionist with a love for the \xe2\x80\x98little things\xe2\x80\x99
• Be able to travel to a studio based in New Town, Kolkata daily (compulsory)
• Show strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time wisely

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles
• Portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and styles
• Excellent creativity and conceptual thinking
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to take feedback and iterate on designs effectively
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing software is a plus
