Gyan Vani Prakashan Pvt. Ltd. is a leading book publishing company dedicated to producing high-quality books that inspire, educate, and entertain readers of all ages. We are seeking an experienced Senior DTP Operator to join our production team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior DTP Operator to oversee the design, layout, and production of our books. The successful candidate will have a strong background in desktop publishing, excellent design skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Book Design and Layout:

Design and layout books, including text, images, and graphics, using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Ensure consistency in design and formatting throughout the book.

Collaborate with editors and authors to incorporate feedback and revisions.

Typesetting and Proofreading:

Typeset manuscripts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Proofread and correct errors in text, layout, and design.

Image Editing and Manipulation:

Edit and manipulate images using Adobe Photoshop.

Ensure images are of high quality and meet production standards.

Production Management:

Manage the production process, ensuring timely delivery of books.

Coordinate with printers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Quality Control:

Conduct quality checks on final proofs and printed books.

Identify and rectify any errors or issues.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor junior DTP operators.

Provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality output.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop publishing, book design, and production.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality books on time.

Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Excellent design, layout, and typesetting skills.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Software:

Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
