Graphic Designer
Job Description
A graphic designer's job is to use art and technology to create visual concepts that communicate ideas. Their responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with clients: Working with clients to understand their needs, budget, and timeline
• Developing concepts: Creating concepts by hand or with software, and deciding on the best use of color, text, font, imagery, and layout
• Managing projects: Managing the design and uploading process for project materials, and keeping clients updated
• Creating visual content: Designing graphics for a variety of materials, including web pages, presentations, signage, newsletters, and marketing materials
• Meeting deadlines: Meeting project deadlines and testing graphics across different media
• Providing feedback: Incorporating feedback from clients and stakeholders, and making amendments to designs
• Creating guidelines: Creating guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be used and displayed
