Pratham Books (www.prathambooks.org) is a not-for-profit children\xe2\x80\x99s book publisher that was set up in 2004 to publish good quality, affordable books in many Indian languages. Our mission is to see \xe2\x80\x98a book in every child\xe2\x80\x99s hand\xe2\x80\x99 and we have spread the joy of reading to millions of children in India. As a publisher serving every child in India, Pratham Books has always pushed the boundaries when it comes to exploring innovative ways in which to create access to joyful stories and have been fortunate in finding partners to collaborate with who share this vision. In 2015, Pratham Books\xe2\x80\x99 increased its footprint by going digital and launching StoryWeaver. StoryWeaver (www.storyweaver.org.in) aims at enabling book security at scale, by pioneering a new, inclusive approach to book creation and distribution. StoryWeaver provides open access to multilingual storybooks that can be read online, offline or downloaded & printed for non-digital environments. We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing and Communications team. Key Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\x93 Design creatives for social media posts for the Pratham Books and Donate-a-Book Instagram, Facebook and Twitter handles.
\xe2\x80\x93 Assist the Graphic Designer in printed marketing collaterals and project reports.
\xe2\x80\x93 Design visually appealing email newsletters.
\xe2\x80\x93 Design creatives for the Pratham Books and Donate-a-Book websites.
\xe2\x80\x93 Design and edit videos for our Youtube channel.
Required skills:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in design/illustration/visual communication or similar subjects.
• Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Is familiar with both Print and Digital publication design processes
• Meticulous and detail-oriented. Able to spot errors
• A team player
• Has the ability to work with timelines and targets.

Location:
This is a full-time position and is based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s qualifications and experience.
