Position - Mechanical Engineer

Experience - 5-8 years.

Location - Puducherry.



Maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools used in manufacturing processes

Helping to develop a maintenance plan for equipment to ensure that it stays in good working condition over time

Scheduling maintenance activities to ensure that machinery is in good working order at all times

Performing inspections of equipment to ensure that it is in good working order and that safety precautions are being followed

Ability to read system schematics.

Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.

Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.

Ability to work with heavy equipment.

Writing technical documentation for machine operators.

Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations.

Collaborating with project managers and other engineers in our team.

Support medium complex engineering drawing and documentation.

Incorporate design changes to address manufacturing and performance issues - systematic problem solving (Pugh/ PSDM/ equivalent).

Concurrent support to Mechanical design projects from concept to build verify and qualification.

Support Problem Reports / Supplier Build issues.

Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.

Preparation of Technical Data sheet for equipment, pipes, valves and instruments as per project specification.

Coordinating with client, Sub Contractor and Vendor.

Desired Profile:

Experience with documentation standards and Engineering Change Order processes.

Proficiency in applying Engineering basics and Design/Documentation Standards.

Knowledge of Sheet metal manufacturing & machining - Enclosures etc.

Selection of different type of hardware's.

Proficient in 3D Cad Modelling, Assembly, and Detailing using Unigraphics-NX.

Excellent oral & written communication and Presentation skills.

Basic understanding of thermal and structural management.

Plan prevention maintenance strategies, procedures and methods

Carry out routine maintenance work.

Assist with troubleshooting problems on machinery

Develop and maintain preventative maintenance manual.

Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation

Complete maintenance of the machine.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?9,742.95 - ?25,000.00 per month
