Job Description

##### Main Purpose


Responsible for the design, integration, simulation and test of antennas for radio products. This position needs experience in executing projects, testing and integration of electrically small off the shelf and custom antennas into devices.
##### Responsibilities


• Design of electrically small single and multi-band antennas from 100MHz to 60GHz
• EM simulation and physical modelling of antennas separately and in customer products
• Perform testing of new, existing and competitive antenna products
• Prepare performance reports for passive device level & active device level testing
• Prepare production drawings using SolidWorks, Altium and AutoCAD
• Prepare datasheet, manufacturing, incoming inspection data and procedures
• Active mode radio device performance testing including cellular, WiFi and GPS
• Coordinate antenna and radio device testing with customer's engineering resources
• Help customers with antenna integration and device certification issues
• Coordinate with customer's engineering resources to mitigate issues found
• Design, simulation and testing of RF circuits and antennas.
• Design, simulation and testing of antenna elements for use in the automotive industry.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team (electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and project management).
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and internally.
• Familiarity with various antenna structures, including patch, PIFA, monopole and helix styles.


##### Knowledge and Experience


• Bachelor's, Masters or PhD degree in Antenna, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 1 year of Antenna/RF experience
• Experience with the use of network analyzers and antenna measurement systems
• Experience with IoT and antenna design
• Knowledge of CST, Altium and Solidworks
