1. Identifying Customer and Lead Generation:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential government clients and opportunities for lead
generation.
- Develop strategies to effectively engage with prospective customers and generate leads for government
contracts.
2. Identifying and Meeting Dealing Persons:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including dealing persons within government
agencies and departments.
- Arrange and conduct meetings with dealing persons to understand their requirements and position Aska
Group as a preferred vendor.
3. Identifying Decision Makers and Giving Presentations:
- Identify decision-makers within government organizations and agencies responsible for procurement
decisions.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations showcasing Aska Group\'s products and solutions to
decision-makers.
4. Taking Administrative and Financial Approvals:
- Navigate the administrative and financial approval processes within government agencies to ensure
compliance and timely execution of contracts.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals for contract negotiation and execution.
5. Indent Generation and GeM/Tendering:
- Generate indents and facilitate the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and tendering process, ensuring
adherence to product specifications and procurement guidelines.- Collaborate with the procurement team to prepare and submit bids for government contracts, leveraging
product specifications to maximize competitiveness.
6. Handling Competitors\' Complaints and Order Release:
- Address competitors\' complaints and challenges effectively, utilizing technical expertise to disqualify them
and secure orders for Aska Group.
- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to resolve disputes and expedite the release of orders.
7. Ensuring Timely Execution/Completion of Contracts:
- Oversee the timely execution and completion of government contracts, ensuring adherence to project
timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams to mitigate risks and overcome challenges
during contract execution.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master\'s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in government relations, liaisoning, or business development, with a
focus on securing government contracts.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and executing government contracts in the safety, disaster
response, or firefighting technology sectors.
- In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, including GeM, tendering, and contract
negotiation.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with government
officials and decision-makers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts
to non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective
contract acquisition and management.
