What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do The SAP Government Security unit is looking for a Senior Security Officer who will manage security projects and contribute to the expansion of capabilities that address the unique requirements of security-sensitive organizations across public sector and regulated industry in India. You will build strong relationships with internal delivery, operations, and support teams, and with government authorities. You will collaborate with customer security teams, employees, and partners to establish a shared understanding of requirements, support customer engagements and deliver results. Being accountable for ensuring strict compliance with applicable government regulations and unique customer security requirements, you will implement security projects and controls either as a project lead or as an individual contributor on a matrixed delivery team. Core responsibilities include:
Support government security requirements for all SAP entities in India.
Support the fulfillment of government security and regulatory requirements in government, public sector, and highly regulated industries across consulting, sales, pre-sales, and other market unit teams.
Play a leading role in the secure development of technological solutions for Digital Sovereignty including Cloud Data Protection Architectures, Data Security, Accountability, and Privacy Technologies
Produce and maintain high-quality documentation critical to security certification.
Maintain internal reporting and ensure employees receive mandatory security briefings
Support the APJ Government Security team and participate in global alignment activities
Develop effective reports and visualizations for management and external stakeholders
Manage information and drive improvement in information management lifecycles
Be a member of SAP India\xe2\x80\x99s Government Security team and serve as an Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO)

Bachelor\'s degree as a minimum (or comparable certification/in-firm training/experience) in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Security, Business, Public Policy, International Affairs, Government Relations, or related discipline/academic program.
Significant experience delivering projects related to technology and/or information management
Experience with Business Analyst, Project Management, Security Management, and/or Information Management roles
Experience with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS cloud technology such as OpenStack, AWS, Google, Azure, or SAP
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to lead and influence
Working knowledge of government security regulations
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a high degree of personal initiative
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
Display a high degree of integrity, discretion and professionalism when exposed to sensitive information
Confident written and oral communication skills, including presenting to groups of people
Working knowledge and understanding of government security processes
Self-starter and comfortable initiating and building government relationships
Former government employee is a plus
Able to both work within a team and as an individual contributor
The successful candidate must have the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a government security clearance
