We are seeking a skilled Government Relationship Manager to join our team in India. You will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with various government bodies to ensure compliance, facilitate business operations, and advocate for our organization\'s interests.

Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, policymakers and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement proactive GR Strategy and OKRs: develop detailed action plans and timelines for implementing public policy strategies, achieving OKRs, mitigating challenges and providing proactive support to business.
  • Manage company\xe2\x80\x99s participation in NGOs, industrial unions and associations.
  • Identify, map and address regulatory risks and opportunities.
  • Manage regulatory or political crises that may arise and develop action plans to address them effectively.
  • Form and manage country budget.
  • Serve as a strategic thought leader providing counsel to internal stakeholders on policy, legislative or reputational initiatives that may impact business performance and/or company reputation through regular updates.
  • Licensing: identification of regulatory requirements to platfroms working in the field of RH, courier, intercity, cargo and other business verticals operated by the company. Own, plan and manage licensing process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Product, to ensure compliance with existing regulations and anticipate potential regulatory challenges.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field.
  • Master of law/economics/polictical science/public policy.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate with government leaders through strong presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Indian political landscape and processes, with a keen awareness of the nuances that shape policies and legal frameworks.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Skills in developing and effective managing strategic long-term plans with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactivity and high autonomy.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
