Roles and Responsibilities
1. Campaign Planning and Strategy
• Develop PPC strategies tailored to business objectives, such as lead generation, e-commerce sales, or brand awareness.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities.
• Align campaigns with broader marketing objectives and KPIs.
2. Keyword Research and Management
• Identify high-performing keywords using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Build a list of relevant keywords and exclude irrelevant ones through negative keyword lists.
• Monitor and update keywords to stay relevant with user search trends.
3. Ad Creation and Optimization
• Craft compelling ad copy with strong CTAs to attract clicks and conversions.
• Create visually engaging display ads and videos for Google's Display and YouTube networks.
• Perform A/B testing on ad creatives to find the best-performing versions.
4. Campaign Setup and Execution
• Set up campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, and Video networks.
• Configure ad groups, bidding strategies, and audience targeting based on goals.
• Ensure compliance with Google Ads policies during campaign setup.
5. Performance Monitoring and Optimization
• Track key performance metrics such as CTR (Click-Through Rate), CPC (Cost Per Click), Quality Score, and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
• Adjust bids, targeting, and creatives to improve performance.
• Identify underperforming ads or keywords and take corrective actions.
6. Landing Page Optimization
• Collaborate with web designers and developers to optimize landing pages for better conversions.
• Ensure landing pages are aligned with ad messaging and user expectations.
7. Analytics and Reporting
• Use Google Analytics to measure user behavior and conversion performance.
• Generate and present detailed campaign performance reports to stakeholders.
• Provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
8. Budget and ROI Management
• Allocate and manage campaign budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
• Track ad spend and ensure campaigns remain within budget constraints.
• Forecast future spending needs based on historical data.
9. Staying Updated
• Keep up with the latest Google Ads updates, trends, and best practices.
• Experiment with new ad formats, bidding strategies, and features.
• Attend workshops, webinars, and training to enhance expertise.
