1. Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Implement inventory control procedures to prevent stock loss and damage.
2. Storage and Handling:
- Ensure proper storage and handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Implement and monitor safety and security measures within the godown.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the godown.
3. Receiving and Dispatching:
- Coordinate the receiving of goods from suppliers and dispatching goods to customers.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure timely and efficient loading and unloading of goods.
4. Team Management:
- Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
5. Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and stock movements.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and other relevant metrics.
