Job Description

The Godown Employee is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of inventory within the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The employee will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain a well-organized and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Unloading:
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and conditions.
• Unload trucks and other delivery vehicles.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or defects.
• Inventory Management:
• Store goods in designated locations according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
• Picking and Packing:
• Pick products according to order specifications.
• Pack products securely for shipment.
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
• Shipping and Loading:
• Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or other delivery vehicles.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers.
• Warehouse Maintenance:
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Sweep, mop, and dust floors.
• Keep aisles and work areas clear of obstructions.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Wear appropriate safety gear.
• Report any safety hazards or accidents to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in warehouse management systems.
• Valid forklift operator's license (if required).

Working Conditions:

• Physical demands including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?10,000.00 per month
