Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced overall, GM - Project, Engineering, and Maintenance

is a critical role within an organization that involves overseeing and managing various aspects of projects,

engineering processes, and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

Leading and supervising project teams to ensure successful planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.

Defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing necessary adjustments to keep

projects on track.

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

Reporting project status and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

2. Engineering Management:

Overseeing and coordinating engineering activities, such as design, analysis, and testing.

Collaborating with various engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.

Evaluating and implementing new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance engineering processes

and efficiency.

Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

3. Maintenance Management:

Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and reliability of

equipment, machinery, and facilities.

Establishing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.

Managing maintenance budgets, resources, and contractors effectively.

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment for maintenance personnel.

4. Team Leadership:

Building and leading a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and maintenance staff.

Providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to foster their professional growth.

Conducting performance evaluations and identifying opportunities for skills development and training.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborating with other departments, such as operations, procurement, and finance, to align project and

maintenance activities with broader organizational goals.

Participating in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to provide technical insights and support decision- making

6. Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

Developing and managing budgets for projects, engineering initiatives, and maintenance activities.

Allocating resources efficiently to ensure the successful completion of projects and maintenance tasks.

7. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensuring that all engineering projects and maintenance activities meet quality standards and comply with

relevant industry regulations and codes.

7. Environment Health & Safety:

To regulate all EHS guidelines as a HOD, oversee all safety measures and risks were mitigated on a timely manner.

Fire and Safety precautions, Trainings, audits and compliance must be taken care and will be provided with a team

8. Audits:

Must have exposure to GMP, WHO, Local FDA, ISO and USFDA Audits procedures, guidelines and

maintain a harmonies and robust documentation system in the organization.

The Head of Project, Engineering, and Maintenance plays a crucial role in driving organizational growth, optimizing

engineering processes, and maintaining efficient operations. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective

communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Education:

A Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical engineering with AutoCAD Drawing exposures.

At least 20 to 25 years of experience in Engineering and projects in API manufacturing, with a proven

track record.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with

stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective

solutions.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.

Conversant with MM/PM SAP module.

Experience Preferred:

Experience with SAP

Experience working in API pharmaceutical Company

Must have experience in Project, Engineering and Maintenance with Greenfield and brownfield

projects in Pharma API exposure.

Good in exposure in Audits, GMP, CGMP, WHO, ISO, USFDA Etc.

AutoCAD, Primavera etc.
