SLAB Workbench is an in-house strategic Application for 2025 GTS Growth, Angular based application catering to Securities Lending and Borrowing Business of GECD. It uses Java technologies like spring Boot, Microservices and Kafka.

Position Purpose

The role is for an excellent Java Developer to contribute to project for technical enhancement and functional changes within SLAB Workbench application. The candidate will be working with highly motivated professionals who take pride in the quality of their output and it is expected to continue. The candidate will be involved in the full Software Development Lifecycle applying Agile methodologies, tools and techniques, solution designing and able to quickly understand the platform.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

- Will be part of development activities

- The person also has to take responsibility of ISPL Deliverables and guiding the team technically.

- Participate to IT support on a rotation basis

- Required to Interact with various stakeholders (BA, APS, QA, Users)

- Writing technical specifications

- Unit testing every produced or changed code

- Supporting User Acceptance Testing, proactively ensuring that the applications and the environments are in an optimal state, and promptly reacting to any issue or difficulty

- Mentor lesser experienced people in the team / manage functional reportees.
