About CareerMap:

Career Map, a unit of Identity Group is the pioneer in the field of Career Counseling in Odisha since 2016. The prime objective with which Career Map began was to enable students to make the right decision on his future careers. Career Map focuses on creating a platform for students where they can have access to information related to different career options, Colleges & Universities, Entrance Exams and Scholarships. We bridge the gap by setting up Career Counseling Cells in schools. Career Map focuses on psychometric assessment-based Career Counseling, Career Guidance, Behavioural Counseling, Mentorship for the students and Parenting. We have set up career cells in top schools of Bhubaneswar and presently we are aiming at expanding all over Odisha. Besides we are the technical partner for UNICEF Odisha and educational partner of Dept. School & Mass Education of Odisha (DHSE, OSEPA) for the career awareness project for 22 lakhs students from class 9th To 12th.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Leadership :

- Heading the entire activities of CareerMap and oversee all career counseling activities.

- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the counseling team to ensure effective career guidance delivery.

2. Career Counselling:

- Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions to assist individuals in identifying career goals and making informed decisions.

- Provide expert advice on career paths, skill development, educational opportunities, and job search strategies.

3. Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of career counselors to deliver high-quality counseling services.

- Conduct training sessions for counselors to enhance skills in career assessment, resume writing, interview preparation, etc.

4. Client Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, educational institutions, and corporate partners.

- Assist clients in developing personalized career plans and monitoring their progress towards career goals.

5. Program Development:

- Develop and implement career counseling programs and workshops to address specific career-related needs.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in career counseling to enhance service offerings.

6. Networking:

- Represent CareerMap at industry events, job fairs, and educational seminars to promote career counseling services.

- Build a strong network within the career counseling community and collaborate with industry stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Career Development, or related field.

- MBA from premiere B schools is preferred

- Proven experience of 7-8 years in career counseling, preferably in a leadership role.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Expertise in career assessment tools, counseling techniques, and job market trends.

- Certification in career counseling (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
