Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

• Responsible for Leading the Accounts team across the Sugar Vertical and report to CFO.
• Responsible for Accounts Consolidation and Finalization for the entire Sugar Vertical and Handle Statutory Audits.
• Also responsible for Tax matters.

1. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Quarterly standalone and consolidated financials for all 3 companies (5 units)
• Accounts of the Sugar Units
• Corporate Accounts
• Statutory and other audits
• Handle of schedules (PL and BS) for Quarterly Board meeting
• Resolve audit queries, preparation of workings for schedules, finalize accounts
• Income - Tax - TDS Vendors, Income - Tax - TDS - Corporate Salary matters
• Turnover Reconciliation with Financials
• Review and reconciliation Sales & Purchase Registers
• Monitor and regularize Related party transactions
• Reconciliation of TDS with Books of Accounts 26(AS)
• GST Audits & Annual Returns and related query resolution.
• Handling appeals and cases related to taxes

2. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Educational Qualifications : CA

Experience

• Should have worked as Accounts Head in a Manufacturing Business for at least 5 years& overall 15years post qualification experience.

Language Skills Required: English & Hindi (optional)

Age Band: 45 - 50 yrs

Salary Bracket : Salary commensurate to the qualification & experience

Required Functional Competencies

• Knowledge of accounting standards
• Expertise in Consolidation and Finalization of Accounts
• Expertise in preparation of budgets& finalization, its monitoring and Cost Control -
• Good knowledge in taxation - direct & indirect
• Thorough knowledge of SAP-FICO
• Good Knowledge of MS office packages
