Reporting to the Director of Leads, as the Global Talent Acquisition Lead (GTAqL) for International you will support the International region in developing, implementing and delivering Talent Acquisition strategies in partnership with the Leadership teams, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, Talent Scouts, Country TAq Leads (where applicable) and business area Global TAq Leads.

The International SET (Senior Executive Team) Business Unit is the Commercial business within 75 markets outside of our Hubs and include the Large Markets of China, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, India and Malaysia as well as MEA, LATAM and Asia Area small and medium markets.

You will also be responsible for the continued embedding of the TAq model across the region, supporting in market TAq teams and HR partners with TAq strategies and play an integral part of the International HR Leadership Team (iHRLT) and will represent the Regional Talent Acquisition (TAq) Lead, working closely with the other Centre of Expertise (CoE) regional leads to ensure that the iHRLT are kept up to date with any global CoE initiatives and partnering with the country HR Directors in any Talent Acquisition related regional projects or initiatives.

Your direct regional team will be accountable for recruiting regional and leadership vacancies. You will ensure we hire best in class talent in the right place, at the right time and right cost.

Partnering closely with key customers you will anticipate talent demand across the region, developing and resource planning to ensure execution and delivery of the TAq strategy, including the sourcing strategy and activity, and be personally involved in the process of screening, interviewing, shortlisting and offer management for executive hires. You will be responsible for driving out the global TAq standards across the region, such as ensuring global initiatives are adopted and implemented by local HR teams. (e.g. employer branding and referral programs)

Main Responsibilities:

You will have the responsibility for developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies in partnership with HR Business Partners, Senior Business Leaders and Hiring Managers.

Working pro-actively across International you will be anticipating talent needs and providing talent acquisition forecasting and develop robust sourcing plans.

Collaboration is key and you will be recognised as the expert and point of contact in Talent Acquisition and work with colleagues across multiple locations to identify and fill vacancies with top talent in a timely and cost efficient manner. This will measure your success.

Contributing to the design of the Global CoE standards, frameworks and tools you will be responsible for driving implementation across International. You will drive accurate data quality across International, continuously analysing to drive and improve the strategy and ensuring tools and systems are optimised and embedded within the markets eg Employer brand portal, LI recruiter / sourcing licences etc. You will roll out and lead team training programmes for International across various areas eg direct sourcing, workday optimisation, and data quality, ensuring TAq standard methodology insights are continuously captured and shared.

You will be responsible for managing the cost per service program (resource and finance management) across International and also ensuring regular reporting to key collaborators on core TAq topics is implemented and shared. You will continue to embed the TAq Inclusion & Diversity strategy by working closely with the International markets to understand their requirements and to share and drive the TAq I&D strategy in all markets.

This is a key opportunity to be part of our brand new in-house talent acquisition function, to work at executive level sourcing and use a broad range of influencing techniques.

Essential Requirements:

Experience of running a global/regional recruitment team in a matrix environment

Executive/senior hands on recruitment experience

Ability to develop Talent Acquisition Strategy

Project Management

Customer management and influencing skills

Team leadership experience \xe2\x80\x93 ability to coach and performance develop a regional team to achieve their full potential

Development and execution of multi-channel recruitment marketing campaigns

Experience of recruitment ATS/CRM systems \xe2\x80\x93 Workday, Beamery etc

Creating a community of practice TAq leads in International & support capability uplift in the market

Excellent written and spoken English (additional language desirable)

Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience

Desirable requirements:

Work experience in Pharma/ life sciences industry

Another language in addition to English

Proficient in data and reporting

Resource and budget management
