POSITION: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented supply chain analyst to work as part of our Global Supply Chain Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing and enhancing our end-to-end supply chain processes and will help drive supply planning, collaboration capabilities, and processes. They will be responsible for evaluating supplier performance, identifying potential bottlenecks and taking measures to mitigate any risks that could arise from supply chain disruptions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Analyse supply chain data and develop relevant reports to support decision-making.
Maintain supplier relationships and determine optimal inventory levels to minimize lead times
Identify areas of the supply chain that require improvement and make recommendations for process improvements where needed.
Ensure supply chain compliance to local, national and international regulations.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance and benchmark against industry standards.
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for purchasing, inventory management, and transportation within the supply chain.
Participate in cross-functional teams to assess supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
Conduct regular audits of the supply chain to ensure compliance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Guide and mentor junior members of the supply chain team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, operations management or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years? experience in procurement, supply chain analysis or similar experience.
Proven ability to analyze and interpret large sets of data to inform business decisions.
Experience with inventory management and supply chain software applications.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Familiarity with import/export regulations, and industry best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
