What you'll do:

This role will be responsible for empalementing appropriate Eaton Crouse Hinds and B-Line solutions to targeted consultants, EPC's, approval organizations, Utilities and end-users globally.
As a Specifications Lead, you will gain, defend, and manage product specifications for the Company's products within a target group of specifiers and influencers with the aim of increasing market share and revenues. The main objective of this position is to drive Eaton Crouse Hinds & B-Line product specifications as "The Supplier of First Choice" by continuous engagement with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will execute cross-functionally across the organization to help equitably resolve gaps in service, performance, or quality; support the development of new product strategies; and/or facilitate business entry into new markets to contribute towards direct/indirect sales and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Approach all projects with a global mentality. All projects will be required to be mapped/tracked and supported globally.
• Drive Eaton B-Line and Eaton Crouse-Hinds product demand through specification with End-Users/Owners, Engineering Procurement and Construction Firms (EPC's), Design and Build Contractors (DB). Manage these activities throughout the globe while implementing KPIs developed by Regional Leadership.
• Develop Global FEED projects and detail engineering for global EPC projects being executed and coordinate with Global Key account managers to specify Eaton as a preferred supplier for Crouse Hinds and B-Line products.
• Develop projects for both green and brownfield project in renewables/non-renewables energy, O&G, Chemical, pharma and infrastructure sector around the globe and collaborate with Business Development team to identify the business potential.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Sales team to ensure incremental MRO/LED Conversion business for B-Line and Crouse-Hinds products.
• Coordinate with Sales and Quote Team providing technical support to ensure suitable product offering.
• Accountable for product specification, application specification, the provision of engineering design services and global project sales.
• Provide support on putting together the bid package for major projects including submittal drawings, past project references, example applications and interfacing with the project.
• Be updated on the competitor's products and solution, conduct competitor and SWOT analysis on project-to-project basis in collaboration with BD and Sales team.
• Conduct a weekly call with sales and BD Team to coordinate with the team about latest and upcoming events and projects (Study/FEED/Execution) by updating a project deck.
• Address customer issues related to quality claims, inspections, troubleshooting products issues in the field and correct interpretation of specification concerns in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Arrange, develop and deliver technical seminars and webinars with the engineering consultants, EPC's, System Integrators, end users etc. to spread awareness and highlight on value proposition using Eaton products and solutions.
• Understand all aspects of renewables and non-renewables energy business, market diversification needs and competitive environment by maintaining a good relationship with prospective customers and collaborate with business development team to derive the market sentiments and trends using data analysis.
• Create a strong brand awareness for Eaton Crouse-Hinds & B-Line capabilities throughout the region, using digital marketing tools, social media platforms and participate in industry trade exhibitions and events etc.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechancial engineering. (Any program on Business Management will be an added advantage.)
"o 3-5+ years of professional experience in the consulting/EPC industry with strong understanding and hands-on experience of hazardous area relevant products and applications in energy, O&G, petrochemicals sector etc.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical products specification space or handelling end user specifications/RFQ/vendor offer evaluation/TQ's and vendor approval with end users or their project management consultants.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with IEC standards/products. Additionally, experience working with ANSI/NEMA standards/products is preferred."

• Electrical systems, power distribution and lighting/electrical bulks design experience is preferred.
