About the department


Global Medical Affairs, GBS is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs, headquartered in Denmark (HQ), and is part of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated global scientific advisors (medical writers), project managers, graphic designers and publication managers working together with the Global Medical Affairs department in S?borg, Denmark and the Medical Affairs department at Various affiliates of the company. Our core competencies include communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organisation, in-house content development, project management and publication planning for external medical events.


As RBD MedComm team we are anchored to the Rare Disease organisation through Strategic Operations. We work in close collaboration with our global colleagues in Zurich, Switzerland supporting activities across Medical Affairs (Rare Endocrine Disorders, Rare Bleeding and Rare Blood Disorders) and Strategic Operations. Our core competencies include communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organisation, in-house content development, project management and publication planning for external medical events across RareD Medical Affairs.


The Position


A Global Scientific Advisor should deliver timely accurate and credible medical communication materials across medical affairs focus areas to internal and external stakeholders.
• The management aspect of this job is to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and consistent communication between medical affairs team, project manager and medical illustrator.
• Back-end as well as on-site support for clinical activities driven by global medical affairs.
• Proactively engage in scientific dialogue and relationship with global KOLs
• Support medical affairs teams in executing global medical education and medical communication plan to ensure KOL/HCP recognition and understanding of clinical profile of compound through presentations of data, participation in meetings and symposia, and personal visits.


Qualifications


• Ph.D/MD. with substantial clinical and/or research expertise relevant area (e.g. Haemophilia, Endocrinology or Internal Medicine).
• At least two years of clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Should possess strong MS PowerPoint presentation skill.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated research experience (e.g. publications).
