Core Responsibilities

Applications Development & Technical Support

• Execute with Global Pharma Technical Lead the global strategic technical plan
• Develop technical (physical, chemical, and applications) data to answer use questions by customers and support sales effort.
• Provide comparisons of competitive products
• Give technical seminars at regional Tradeshows and Customers.
• Train INGREDION's Go-To-Market teams - distributors included - on Ingredion Pharma Solutions products.
• Write white papers for trade journals
• Collaborate with external Pharmacy Colleges to generate local data that supports marketing efforts
• Drive product functional quality through application work with our manufacturing plants
• Work in collaboration with the P & N Global Regulatory team to support and execute product stability initiatives for shelf-life extensions
• Support Global Pharma Technical lead in future planning and execution in building a global Technical Service function with responsibilities in the Asia Pacific market

Laboratory Management

• Manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, erection of equipment's within the laboratory
• Develop and qualify testing protocols for all laboratory work
• Manage the calibration and maintenance of the laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Develop and institute cleaning verification of the all laboratory equipment
• MIS Management - RM / FG / Packing Material
• Coordinate logistics in terms of shipment of the customer samples, stability samples and or sample for analysis at outside testing laboratories

Organization & Strategy

• Collaborate with Global Technical Lead and Business Director to establish overall technical program for Ingredion Pharma Solutions
• Implement Capital planning process to ensure the India laboratory is operational levels suited to conduct work
• Develop staffing and training plan for India technical staff
• Supervise overall program in India and the greater Asia Pacific market

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

• Minimum of BS/BA; MS preferred in Chemistry / Pharmacy
• 10+ years' in Pharma related technical development and support working experience with Pharma customers and pharma applications
• Demonstrated knowledge of pharma excipients and have a rudimentary under-standing of pharma regulatory requirements and guidelines as they relate to product requirements
• Demonstrated experience in direct leading of a technical team to deliver applications, product, and technical support solutions
• Solid listening skills to facilitate problem solving both internally and with customers
• Demonstrated use of rigorous logic and scientific reasoning to solve difficult technical problems
• Is savvy in building relationships to drive collaboration within the company; understands the need to educate those not well versed in pharma industry fundamentals
• Is constructive in handling conflict without sacrificing core values of Ingredion or without risking business
• Transparent, ethical, passionate, and curious
• Is driven and shows a sense of urgency; does not let bureaucracy to slow down progress on deliverables; is able to employ leadership to get things done.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English, plus other languages are a plus
