We are looking for a Global Payroll Manager to join our HR team to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll across multiple countries and regions. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in managing payroll operations for our global workforce. As a Global Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of global payroll operations, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time in compliance with international regulations. You will manage relationships with payroll vendors, collaborate with internal HR and finance teams, and support process improvements to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Your role will also include analyzing payroll data and ensuring the timely submission of reports to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end global payroll operations for employees in multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time, including tax calculations, deductions, and benefits contributions
  • Lead the implementation of new payroll systems or tools to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and ensure scalability across the global payroll function
  • Collaborate closely with HR, finance and other internal and external teams to address payroll-related queries and resolve issues promptly
  • Ensure that payroll taxes, statutory filings, and other compliance-related reports are completed in a timely manner and submitted to relevant authorities
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data and work closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and identify potential risks or issues
  • Provide guidance and training to local payroll teams and ensure alignment with global payroll policies and best practices
  • Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure global consistency and regulatory compliance
  • Analyze payroll data and produce reports for management, supporting strategic decision-making
  • Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and other compliance requirements in different countries and regions
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of payroll professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment
  • Drive continuous improvement practices within the payroll team, identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and greater efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in payroll management, with at least 3 years in a global payroll role
  • Extensive knowledge of international payroll practices, tax laws, and regulations
  • Strong understanding of payroll software and systems (experience with ADP Celergo is a plus)
  • Proven track record of managing complex payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions, including US and India. Mexico, Spain, UK, Australia and / or Japan payroll processing experience is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with HR, finance, and external vendors
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance standards in key regions
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
Additional Details:
  • Candidates based in Delhi NCR, India, would work in a hybrid (3 days in-office per week) capacity from the Accertify office located in Gurgaon, Haryana.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work for Accertify in India is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position
